Hyperion Launches Financial Intelligence Platform for Private Companies and Capital Markets Participants

Platform enables private companies to securely share real-time financial data with financial services partners and advisors.

Los Angeles, CA – September 10, 2025 – Hyperion is pioneering a new category: a real-time, private company financial data platform, designed to deliver a new level of financial intelligence to private companies and their trusted advisors. The company recently exited beta-testing and has officially launched its platform for mid-market private enterprises. The platform enables businesses to securely share account-level ledger activity, payment history, cash flow metrics and valuation analysis—data that may strengthen their ability to plan and negotiate favorable succession strategies and financing outcomes.

"As multi-time entrepreneurs, my co-founders and I were frustrated by the lack of private markets data used to compare our business's performance to our peers," said Brandon Mills, Founding Partner. "Even more frustrating was the time and cost associated with understanding the valuation and marketability of the companies we've built when it was time to exit."

With a single login to QuickBooks, Xero or other systems, businesses can:

  • Instantly generate dynamic valuation reports
  • Access real-time private markets insights
  • Use a suite of professional financial analysis and reporting tools
  • Engage with a native AI financial analyst via Private LLM
  • Seamlessly and securely share data with their trusted financial services providers

"There's been very little innovation in this space over the last 20-years," said Ray Landgraf, Founding Partner. "We identified a real pain-point in a market that's been underserved for decades but is now experiencing rapid growth as baby boomers plan for retirement and prepare their businesses for successful transition to the next generation of owners, operators and entrepreneurs."

Despite making up 99% of U.S. companies, private businesses still lack access to the financial infrastructure and transparency needed to make decisions with confidence. "Hyperion changes that," said Paul Servino, Founding Partner. "At the most basic level, our technology uses live, actionable financial data to help businesses understand the value of what they've built over the years - much like someone checks Kelly Blue Book for an informal indication of what their car might be worth. Additional platform tools support critical due diligence functions, making it easier for financial professionals to advise their clients on exit options and the financial planning that occurs before, during and after a transaction."

Hyperion recently teamed up with Dun & Bradstreet (NYSE: DNB) to help businesses securely share account-level ledger activity, payment history, and cash flow metrics—data that may strengthen credit profiles, improve financing outcomes, and enhance risk assessment.

Lenders, underwriters, and investment professionals can connect directly to their portfolio and target company financial systems to access live financial information like revenue, margins, payables, receivables, cash flow, assets and liabilities continuously – reducing risk, increasing visibility and accelerating smarter investment decisions.

Through this collaboration, Dun & Bradstreet will begin offering customers a direct integration with Hyperion, seamlessly enabling automated financial workflows that support credit evaluation, underwriting, lending, and investment decisions.
